Statement by SEP of Turkey: Terrorist USA, Out of Venezuela!

U.S. imperialism has launched an unlawful, immoral, and overtly terrorist war against Venezuela in order to plunder its oil resources and turn all of Latin America into its backyard. Trump and his clique have targeted Venezuela without making even the slightest effort to present any concrete evidence or legal justification, doing so precisely at a moment when a Chinese delegation was in Caracas for official talks.
As SEP of Turkey, we declare that:
- All illegitimate U.S. sanctions imposed on Venezuela must be lifted immediately,
- In the spirit of international solidarity, we stand alongside the legitimate resistance of the Venezuelan people,
- We will struggle against Trump’s collaborators in our own country and against those who act as subcontractors for imperialist projects,
- We will provide all possible support to the global anti-war movement that stands in solidarity with Venezuela.
